The Teacher’s Calling: A Journey of Faith and Purpose On a bright sunny day in the heritage province of Ilocos Sur, a beautiful little sunshine was born. She was from a catholic family and was named after the saint Joan De Dios which was associated on the exact date of her birthday, March 8, 1988. While Joan Tacud-Regua was growing up, she attended a Baptist Bible Church where she learned to study God’s word and practice Christian living. This Bible Church was used by the Creator to teach her build her faith and relationship with Him. Moreover, ever since she can remember, she had dreamed of becoming a teacher; it was a calling that echoed deep within her soul, a purpose that she held close to her heart.
